Surat Customs department to start attaching Nirav Modi’s assets

The court had on October 10 acted on the application of the Surat Customs department, and declared Nirav Modi as an absconder. If the court permits, the Customs department will identify his properties in Surat and in other parts of the country as well and start attaching them.
