With strategies to help mitigate health risks posed by air pollution in the city, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) launched an updated Air Information & Response (AIR) plan on Wednesday. As part of AIR Plan, the AMC had launched School Flag Programme which is working with around 90 schools across the city for air pollution awareness. Along with the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), Pune, the civic body is getting air quality of city in three days advance. The system is based on colour coding as per the level of air pollution.
