Ponzi: Cops urge investors to lodge complaint

AHMEDABAD: Rakhial police of Ahmedabad has issued a press release urging victims of a ponzi scheme firm by the name of Jeevan Seva Marketing Pvt Ltd run by Harish Labana of Dahod and six others who already have been arrested.DCP Himkar Singh of Zone- 5 in the city said the owners of the company had appointed about 20,000 agents across the state to make people invest in their scheme, which promised four-fold of the invested amount. "However, after paying some of them initially, the owners and the stake owners of the company locked its office at Rakhial in Ahmedabad, in Vadodara and Dahod and ran away" he said.After getting a complaint from one Babita Ravat of Ramol who was cheated by the company of more than Rs 1.90 lakh, the cops swung into action and within a span of five days arrested seven accused including the kingpin of the ponzi scheme..
