Ahmedabad markets closed to pay homage to Pulwama martyrs

Major markets in Ahmedabad remained closed on Saturday to pay condolence to the martyrs of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Pulwama. As a result of which all the major wholesale and retail markets in the eastern part of the city remained closed. Ashish Jhaveri, media convener of Amdavad Vepari Mahajan said that the mahajan had given a call for bandh in order to pay homage to the martyrs. We want to give a message to family members of martyrs that entire country is with them in this time of grief," said Naresh Sharma, honorary secretary of Maskati Market Kapad Mahajan.
