75 flyovers to come up in Gujarat

Some 700 electric buses have already been sanctioned for Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot. The state has proposed a total of 75 new flyovers, including 54 in the seven municipal corporation areas. The 103km path will cost Rs 20 crore.The budget stated that with vehicle numbers increasing by the day, the government has allocated Rs 2,000 crore to ease traffic flow. The budget proposes to upgrade the Sola and Gandhinagar Civil Hospitals to super speciality hospitals.The city will also get a pedestrian path, for Jain pilgrims, to Shankheswar.
