Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority proposes Rs 752 cr budget for FY20

The Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) proposed a budget of Rs 752 crore for the year 2019-20. Nehra said that they have allocated Rs 180 crore for bridges, which includes Rs 130 crore for five ongoing projects, and Rs 50 crore for six new bridges. Similarly, provision of Rs 50 crore has been made for auditoriums in Kathwada, Dehgam and Shela, and community halls in Mahemdavad and Kalol. A large chunk of the money is planned to be used for construction of bridges, roads, housing for poor, and other infrastructure-related works. We have made provision of Rs 50 crore for these projects for 2019-20," he said..
