A total of 1650 teachers were detained from different areas of Gandhinagar including Gujarat Assembly. The teachers had even tried to block roads in Gandhinagar by lying on the road, later were detained from the spot and the roads were cleared. On Friday, the members of Gujarat Primary Teachers Association (GPTA) staged a protest outside the Gujarat Assembly.
