Gujarat Congress leaders oppose Motor Vehicle Act, ride sans helmet

To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Gujarat Congress on Friday set out on a bike rally sans any helmet for any of the riders. The opposition party used the yatra, which began from Dandi, the place of the historic Dandi March, to oppose against the amendments in the Motor Vehicle Act. Both saw hundreds of Congress workers riding a bike without a helmet. Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president Amit Chavda was himself seen riding a bike without a helmet.
