Sanjay Srivastava, a 1987 batch IPS officer, was recently promoted by the government as DGP. Sanjay Srivastava has been appointed as Ahmedabad Police Commissioner in the late night transfer of IPS officers.
Sanjay Srivastava said that he was the Rajkot Police Commissioner from 2003 to 2005.
Earlier, Kutch, Bharuch, Gandhinagar, Patan and Mehsana have served as SPs.
While in Ahmedabad also as DCP in Zones - 1 - 2 - 3 and 5 as well as Shahibaug Police H.Q.
