Summary:
Ahmedabad, May 19 (PTI) Gujarat registered 19 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday, taking the overall tally to 12,24,833, while no fresh death due to the infection was recorded in the state, the health department said.
The death toll remained unchanged at 10,944 with no addition to the count in the last 24 hours, said a release by the department.
It said 27 persons recovered from the respiratory disease during the day, pushing up the tally of recoveries to 12,13,685.
The number of active cases in Gujarat now stands at 204, the release added.
Gujarat COVID-19 figures are as follows: Positive cases 12,24,833, new cases 19, deaths 10,944, recoveries 12,13,685, active cases 204, total tests - figures not released.
