Impersonation allegation: Judicial inquiry setup against AUSU president

ALLAHABAD: Taking strict action against allegation regarding case of impersonation against the present president of Allahabad University student union Avneesh Yadav , the University has constituted a judicial enquiry committee . The student had complaint that these three have been repeatedly passing objectionable comment on her and have also beaten one of his friend, on Monday. Proctor, after suspending them from AU, have asked the three to be present at proctor office along with their parents on August 17 and explain why they should not be rusticated from AU. The committee, headed by Justice Arun Tandon (retd) of Allahabad high court.According to sources, varsity authorities have received a complaint wherein it has been alleged that the answer sheet of Avnish Yadav , a student of LLB 4th semester, have been written by someone else. Considering this as a case of impersonation, the varsity has ordered this judicial probe.The committee will also look into two more similar cases that of Avdesh Tiwari (also of LLB 4th sem) and a female student of SPM degree college.Commenting on AU’s action, AUSU president said, “This is just a conspiracy to sabotage our agitation wherein we are demanding a CBI probe in the recent teacher recruitments..
