HC seeks govt’s reply on Hindu courts in West UP

Ankit Singh has sought court's interference on newspaper reports saying that in West UP , a decision was taken by some locals to constitute Hindu courts in every district on the pattern of sharia courts. ALLAHABAD: The Allahabad high court on Tuesday took cognizance of a PIL seeking the court's interference against the constitution of Hindu courts on pattern of ‘sharia courts’ in several district of western UP.The court has asked counsel for state government to apprise the court in this regard on the next date of hearing.
