ALLAHABAD: General Manager, North Central Railway Ratan Lal , along with team of principal head of departments inspected Allahabad junction on Wednesday to review the progress of ongoing infrastructural works as part of preparations for ensuing Kumbh Mela 2019 . He also inspected Platform No-2/3 and saw the ongoing work of skywalk connecting two foot over bridges. He was also informed that additional special trains will be run and temporary additional stoppages will be provided to regular trains during the period, informed Malviya. He also suggested that it should be ensured that there is no crowding of passengers on platforms during the Mela period. He also suggested to prepare a day by day program and emphasized on the need for its daily review.The GM also reviewed the movement plan of station during Mela period and suggested the measures for crowd management..
