44,000 disqualified in UPTET

UP-TET is a qualifying exam for recruiting teachers in government primary and upper primary schools. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website.ERA, secretary, Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi said 34,455 rejected candidates have applied for teaching in primary schools while 9,680 belong to upper primary schools. However, due to large number of applicants, the server collapsed twice forcing the state government to come out with new web addresses and extension of last date for three times. The admit card for the exams will be made available from Tuesday onwards.
