Kumbh 2019: No weddings allowed during main 'snan days' in Prayagraj

He also claimed that millions of devotees will be arriving in the city to take a holy dip on main "snan" days, the guests as well as marriage pandal authorities will have to face unwanted troubles especially in cases of parking and accomodation.He also added that he has not asked any pandal owner to cancel the bookings, but has suggested that they might face unwanted problems in managing things due to massive crowd arriving in the city. PRAYAGRAJ: The diktat of district authorities, stating that no wedding will be allowed to take place in the city a day before and after the main "snan" days of Kumbh, slated to be held between January 15 and March 4 next year, has left the families, especially those with pre-bookings of banquet halls and pandals in main localities of the cities, in a fix.Since owners of pandals and halls have been issued notices for not taking bookings for aforesaid dates, the owners have conveyed the same details to the families, appealing them either to postpone the dates or book guest houses or pandals located at the outskirts..
