9 foreigners to be ordained as ‘mahamandaleshwar’

Allahabad: For the first time ever, nine foreign nationals would be ordained with the title of ‘mahamandaleshwar’ in a single ceremony to be held in the ongoing Kumbh mela on February 19. “It is more about a complete dedication to Sanatan dharma,” she said.On her maiden visit to Kumbh in Allahabad, the seer said, “It’s a very powerful spiritual event. The ordination ceremony would be performed at Shree Panch Nirmohi Ani Akhara, one of the 13 akharas (Hindu monastic orders) of the country.The nine seers, all disciples of Mahamandaleshwar Sai Maa of Nirmohi Ani Akhara, hail from various countries, including the US, Israel, Japan and France.Of the nine, three — Shree Devi Brahmacharini of Santiago, Chile, Rajeshwari Dasi Brahmacharini of Tokyo and Lalita Shree Dasi Brahmacharini of Colorado, US — are women.Tyaganand Das Brahmchari and Jayendra Das Brahmchari of Colorado, Anantananda Das Brahmchari of Pennsylvania, Dayanand Das Brahmchari of Israel and one other will also be ordained.“It’s a great honour for me and I feel spiritually energized..
