High court cancels ex-MLA's bail in 2008 gangrape case

The applicant alleged that after grant of bail, the accused did not appear before the trial court. It was only when in March 2014, the high court directed high-ranking police officers of the state to either appear before the court or arrest the accused, the accused surrendered before the court below and was granted bail by the court within three days.
