ALLAHABAD: The grandson of famous Hindi poet Suryakant Tripathi "Nirala" who sustained serious injuries in a bomb attack on Wednesday died here at a city hospital on Thursday.Akhilesh Tripathi, Nirala's kin, was injured when two unidentified bike borne miscreants hurled crude bombs and sprayed bullets near subji mandi area under Daraganj police station on Wednesday. Congress leaders have demanded the arrest of assailants at the earliest. "The condition of Akhilesh Tripathi, the grandson of famous hindi poet, got deteriorated late on Wednesday night and doctors did not find it suitable to shift him to higher medical center either in Lucknow or Delhi," said Kulkarni.SSP further said, "Akhilesh was injured when the particles of a crude bomb hit his back and as a result, he had severe spinal injuries and excessive bleeding".He, meanwhile, said, "Two teams have carried out a series of raids and detained one person in connection with the incident"..
