Amritsar, April 26The Municipal Corporation (MC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hindustan Petroleum (HP) to make the city open defecation-free (ODF) till July 2018. The MC also signed an MOU of Rs 10 crore for the improvement of sanitation and garbage management around Golden Temple area. A commitment of Rs 2 crore was made by the oil major for the construction of community and public toilets in the city.
