Amritsar, May 21State Warehousing Corporation chairperson Navjot Kaur Sidhu on Monday said that fire safety equipment will be installed at government tubewells in order to control accidental fire incidents. Sidhu said that necessary instructions have been issued to all the departments concerned to remove all sort of encroachments and loose cables. Encroachments by the Ram Nagar residents, electricity poles and loose cables led to unwanted obstacles. The fire erupted in the upper two floors of the residence which was being used as a godown for storing electronic goods by a shopkeeper.
