Farmers to hold protest in Delhi on July 20

The farm body has decided to request 21 political parties to lent support to the farmers’ bills in the Parliament. Farmers from various places across the country, including Punjab, have decided to reach Delhi on July 20 in large numbers.The AIKSCC is an umbrella organisation of 194 farmers’ bodies from across the country. The decision was taken at the AIKSCC working group meeting held on July 14 in Delhi. The bills pertaining to guaranteed MSP and debt waiver were tabled by MPs from various political parties in the parliament as private members’ bills. BATHINDA: The All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee ( AIKSCC ) has termed the claims of the NDA government of implementing the Swaminathan panel’s recommendations by increasing the MSP of kharif crops as betrayal.The AIKSCC has decided to hold a black flag demonstration in Delhi on July 20 when two bills with regard to farmers are to be taken up in the Parliament for consideration..
