UK Sikh bodies oppose ‘London Declaration’

AMRITSAR: The proposed August 12 event, ‘London Declaration’ has divided the Sikh community in the UK with majority of them opposing ‘Referendum 2020’ being organised by the organisation, Sikhs For Justice (SFJ). Many UK Sikhs have dubbed it as ‘Game 2020’. Various Sikh bodies in the UK, intellectuals and think tanks have joined hands to boycott the declaration.“Sikhs living abroad are only concerned about work and ensuring the well-being of Sikhs in India, including Punjab. The referendum is to be held globally and will ask Sikhs whether they want the creation of Khalistan or not.
