BATHINDA: The split in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over the proposed volunteers’ convention in Bathinda on Thursday, has now breached its women’s wing. On other hand, Navjot called it a volunteers’ programme being organised to discuss issues important to Punjab. When it came to the only two women MLAs of AAP, Baljinder Kaur sided with the party, while Rupinder Kaur Ruby avoided making any comment.Narinder (24) of Bharaj village and Navjot (20) of Kheowali village in Lambi had been star campaigners in the assembly polls. “There should not be any bar on volunteers assembling at a place. Founding members and star campaigners Narinder Kaur Bharaj, from Sangrur district , and Navjot Kaur Lambi, from Muktsar, had a difference of opinion on the eve of the event, which has already been termed as anti-party by the Delhi bosses of AAP.Narinder said the convention was being organised against the party’s wishes and she would not attend it..
