'Take action against offensive Facebook post'

AMRITSAR: Taking notice of the objectionable posts against Guru Gobind Singh on Facebook, jathedar of Akal Takht Giani Gurbachan Singh has asked the Punjab government to immediately take action against the persons responsible for hurting the religious sentiments of the Sikhs.He also warned that the government would be responsible for the consequences if it failed to act in the matter.Gurbachan Singh said Punjab police should get the person traced through its cyber wing and book him under Section 295-A of the IPC or hand the accused over to the Sikh Panth since such acts could inflame the community's sentiments..
