Police claim mentally-challenged girl tore pages of Gutka Sahib found scattered in village

BATHINDA : The Police claimed to have solved the case of desecration of Gutka Sahib (Sikh prayer book) in Ram Nagar village of Bathinda district on Wednesday, which had led to tension in the area. A total of 22 pages were found to be torn. They also asked the villagers to maintain peace.A large number of policemen were deployed in the village fearing that the situation could take an ugly turn..
