Summary:

After CJ’s visit to Katasraj, Pakistan media has quoted him as saying, “For the sake of your personal interests and profit you have ruined the natural beauty of this area. Last December, when I had led a jatha to Katasraj, there was hardly any water. While welcoming the personal intervention of Pakistan’s CJ, president of Kendriya Sanatan Dharam Sabha (North India) Shiv Partap Bajaj, who leads Hindu jathas to Katasraj twice a year, said, “The visit is incomplete without a dip in Sri Amar Kund (holy pond). But I hope it will be restored to its pristine religious glory.”Taking cognizance of reports of the holy pond drying up due to nearby cement factories, Pakistan’s SC in November last year had ordered Pakistan’s federal as well as Punjab government for the constitution of a committee of experts to save the historical pond having immense significance for Hindus from extinction. It is my heartiest desire to see the natural springs flow again.”.
