Sacrilege: SIT recreates crime scene with arrested dera men

A fifth accused follower of the dera, Deepak Kumar of Muktsar, was arrested on Sunday. The SIT, added the source, recreated the crime to prepare a foolproof case. The crime scene was created through a chronology of events. BATHINDA: The four followers of Dera Sacha Sauda who have been arrested for the October 2015 sacrilege of a "bir" (copy of Guru Granth Sahib ) at Gurusar village in Bathinda , were taken to the crime scene for recreating the sequence of events on Monday.The Punjab Police special investigation team (SIT) which is probing cases of sacrilege in Moga and Bathinda, also took the four accused to Bhagta Bhai Ka village in Bathinda. It had recovered three motorcycles allegedly used in the crime.In all, 147 pages of the Sikh holy book, from page number 1,273 to 1,430, were found scattered in Gurusar..
