The case pertains to a “murderous” assault on Tej Karan Singh, son of Gurmeet Singh, president of the Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh Youth Front. He filed a complaint with the court in November 2016 while alleging that the police had worked under the influence of the suspects, who were very rich and influential. On the other hand, Kulwinder termed the allegations false while alleging that the complainant was misleading the court.
