The victim, Manjit Singh, was going to Chheharta after collecting the installments from the Housing Board Colony when the incident took place. He said when he reached near Karampura School in Ranjit Avnue, two youths travelling on a motorcycle snatched his bag which contained Rs 50,000 and other documents. In another incident, Harpreet Kaur, a Mohali resident claimed that her bag was snatched by two motorcycle-borne men on Majitha road on Saturday. Investigating Officer ASI Prem Singh said they have scrutinised the CCTV footage but found no clue of miscreants..
