The police said the accused had been identified as Joban Singh, his father Sukha Singh, of the same village besides Jaideep Singh, Gurjant Singh, Sarabjit Singh, Gurchet Singh and Sonu. The case has been registered on the complaint of Manjinder Singh who alleged that villagers were opposing the accused who sat aimlessly near a medical practitioner's shop.
