Shiv Sena leader duped of Rs 3 lakh

Our CorrespondentTarn Taran, July 13Ashwani Kumar Kukku, state leader of Shiv Sena (SS), has been duped of Rs 3 lakh on the pretext of getting his sons recruited into the police. The swindler, who has been identified as Rinku Singh of Farwahi (Barnala), has been booked under Section 420 of the IPC by the local city police. Kuku mentioned in his complaint that the accused lured him five months ago for getting his sons Rohit Sharma and Amit Sharma recruited into the police. He deposited Rs 50,000 into the bank account of the accused and the rest amount was given in cash in the presence of witnesses.
