Amritsar, July 23Health officials conducted a meeting of officials to identify the children living in unfavorable conditions so that they could be provided help under tje child protection programme. The meeting was attended by child protection programme officers, ayurvedic medical officers and Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram teams. Speaking on the occasion, the district immunisation officer said the Women and Child Development Department was running a scheme for the protection of children living in unfavorable conditions. He said the report would be given to the child protection unit which would look into each case and take action accordingly.
