IN BRIEFAmritsar: With the arrest of three persons, the Amritsar rural police on Thursday solved a snatching case in which armed assailants had snatched a mobile phone and Rs 1,500 from Gurmukh Singh of Katcha Dalla Rajputa village on August 22. During investigations, the police arrested Nishan Singh, Gurpreet Singh, alias Gopi, and Gurpreet Singh, alias Tota, all residents of Gaggomahal village.
