They have to join their new postings but higher-ups are not relieving them from their present stations. Protests were organised at the offices of elementary as well as secondary education offices. District Education Officer (Elementary) Kanwaljit Singh, while accepting their memorandum, said the department had issued instructions not to relieve the teachers till those from other districts reach to replace them keeping the students’ interest in mind.”.
