Punjabi play Faisla dwells on euthanasia

The play was written by Dr Shankar Shesh and directed by Amandeep Singh. A tragic and serious play, Faisla is an adaptation of Dr Shesh’s original play Fandi, written in the 1970’s. Dealing with the theme of mercy killing, or euthanasia, the subject of the play remains relevant over time. The play ended on an introspective note, with audience deciding to themselves if the decision of the protagonist was right or wrong..
