Amritsar, September 20A two-week workshop on ‘Instructional strategies for science teachers and teacher educators in pedagogy of science’ under the Centre of Learning and Pedagogic Study, School of Education, concluded here on Friday. The workshop was organised under MHRD’s Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching scheme. Prof Amit Kauts, project coordinator, School of Education, welcomed the guest and said the basic goal of the workshop was to make the participants aware of the innovative teaching methods in science for active participation of students to experience scientific concepts. Dr Sikand emphasised how the job of science teachers has become very crucial in this transition period.
