Snatching incidents create panic among traders of Vallah market

Fruit and Vegetable Merchants Association president Tejinder Singh Kamboj said incidents of theft, mugging and looting were on the rise in the Vallah mandi. These incidents have spread panic among traders in the current season of potato and peas. Surinder Bindra, general secretary of the association, demanded setting up of a police chowki in the mandi and intensification of patrolling on the Maqboolpura-Mandi road in the morning.
