Muskan Garg (22) and Prateek Sankhe launched 'Wings' initiative in September 2020 to collect funds and distribute sanitary napkins to women living in the most deprived areas of the city. “We have till date distributed sanitary napkins worth Rs9000 and now plan to approach small businesses for funds and expand our reach” she shares. Muskan said menstrual hygiene was otherwise a taboo in society and availability of affordable sanitary napkins was severely hit during lockdown.
