Amritsar village woman held with sedative pills

Amritsar: The Ajnala police have nabbed Dalbir Kaur a resident of Shahliwal village and seized huge quantity of intoxicants from her possession. Sub-Inspector Ramandeep Kaur said that the police got a tip-off that she was involved in drug peddling by selling sedative pills in and around her native village. The police booked her under the NDPS Act and further investigations were under progress to ascertain the source of the sedative pills. Joginder Singh victim's father alleged that his son was murdered by three persons while they gave it a shape of an accident. He alleged that the police were acting in favour of the suspects and was not hearing their point of view..
