A senior police officialBhagwanpuria has around 50 cases registered in different police stations including that of murder attempt to murder the Arms Act and the NDPS Act. Ironically he has been convicted by the court only in one case of the NDPS Act while he has been acquitted in 16 cases. He has been convicted in only one case of the NDPS Act in which he was pronounced 10 years of rigorous imprisonment in January 2020.
