Amritsar August 21A team of the Estate Wing of the Amritsar Municipal Corporation led by estate officer Dharminderjeet Singh demolished an under construction illegal structure near Gate Hakima here today. Estate wing officials said some mischievous persons were trying to occupy the land illegally. On a tip-off a team of the MC officials reached the spot and the work was halted. The Estate Officer said under the directions of the Mayor and Commissioner action was being taken against those trying to occupy government land illegally.
