Aurangabad: Water works engineer Hemant Kolhe on Tuesday told the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation’s standing committee that his department is in the process of finalizing the water supply to all areas in the city once in three days.At present, the supply of water is not uniform. He said the civic body should grant them time to explain and rectify some things.The chairman then directed the administration to give 15 days time to the fire department to reply to the audit paras.The civic body has approved five estimates involving the water supply department. She said the civic body launched a campaign in this respect in the last month of the financial year due to which the target could not be achieved. The town planning officer A B Deshmukh however pointed that the state government had issued a resolution in this regard around six months ago and the civic body extended the deadline by another month.
