Jalna city plagued with irregular water supply

Aurangabad: Jalna residents are having a tough time meeting their water needs as different areas of the city are receiving supply once in 5 to 10 days. In addition to this, the new city also receives supply from the Nizam era water reservoir in Ghanewadi. Subsequently, the quantity of water supplied to the city is not a cause for concern.However, the city's internal distribution and storage system is a problem. The resident added that many a times the supply schedule is also disturbed due to various reasons.Jalna city gets 18 millions of litres of water per day through the Jayakwadi pipeline.
