Conman nabbed from Delhi, for duping bizman

Aurangabad: The cybercrime branch of the city police has nabbed a 26-year-old man from Delhi who with the help of his girlfriend allegedly duped a city-based businessman to the tune of Rs 7.16 lakh.The accused has been identified as Jeetendrasingh Mina, a resident of Mayapuri area in West Delhi. After the trader was asked to deposit another installment of Rs 2.83 lakh, Patel grew suspicious and asked the suspects to return the deposited amount.After realising that they stand exposed, the suspects switched off the cellphone. The second suspect, accused’s girlfriend, is still at large.The earlier two attempts by the city police to nab the suspect, turned futile, but this time he ran out of luck and was arrested from the mall he is employed at. Later, Patel kept calling the phone number from which he received the phone calls but failed to get any response.Running out of options, he reached out to the Cidco police on September 6, 2017 and lodged a complaint. The suspect through his girlfriend made call to the businessman by claiming to an officer with Bajaj Finance in Pune and asked him if he is interested in getting loan.After the businessman showed willingness to obtain a loan, he was asked to fill up an online form to confirm his identity and complete KYC norms..
