AIMIM debuts Dhule Municipal Corporation with four seats

HYDERABAD: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen(AIMIM) made its debut in Dhule Municipal Corporation (DMC) elections, ( Maharashtra ) by bagging four seats. Out of the four candidates three of them are women.Party filed 11 candidates in DMC, popularly known as Dhule Maha Nagar Palika. MIM is now entrenched in Maharashtra which is the most satisfying part, thanks to the effort and sacrifices of MIM cadre, special thanks to Imtiyaz Jaleel (MLA from Aurangabad) and Aurangabad MIM corporators,” said the Hyderabad parliamentarian. AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi speaking to TOI said that they will also contest Dhulia assembly segment. "Without my single public meeting we have won four seats, we will defiantly contest assembly seat of Dhulia also,” said Owaisi.Mehrunisa Shaikh won form Ward 13 B (general - women), Najiabano Pathan won form Ward 3 C (general - women ), Saida Ansari won form Ward 3 B (general) and Said Baig won form ward 3D (general).Owaisi also thanked MIM Aurangabad cadre saying the party has further established in Maharashtra.“We welcome and thank the people of Dhulia for electing our candidates..
