AAP’s survey in drought-hit villages says govt help still far

“The government is trying to pass the time to limit their expenditure for drought relief. Aurangabad: The state and district leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday conducted a survey of the drought affected villages in the Sillod taluka of Aurangabad.The survey is aimed at understanding the implementation of drought relief measures by the government in the villages which have been declared as drought-hit. If the demands are not met, the party plans to hold a sit-in agitation at the Aurangabad divisional commissionerate in the first week of January. Initiated from Osmanabad on December 9, the squad has covered Beed, Jalna and Aurangabad districts.
