Aurangabad: A 20-year-old third year student committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his hostel room at Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agriculture University in Parbhani — about 200 km from Aurangabad — on Tuesday night.Preliminary investigation has revealed that the student had failed in three consecutive semester examinations and had ended up spending the money he had got from his family for paying fees.The deceased — identified as Sachin Panditrao Mundhe, hailing from Savargav Mundhe of Lonar in Buldhana district — was pursuing B.Sc (Agri) course.
