Another highlight of the AIFF was the short film contest. Kicking starting the 6 th Aurangabad International Film Festival in the city recently, movie buffs gathered under one roof to witness the finest movies and attend workshops that cater the film industry. Organised by Mumbai’s Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan, in association with the Nath Group and Mahatma Gandhi Mission, the five-day festival’s favourite part were the workshops and the short film contest. Award worth ?25000 was given out to the winners of the film-making contest. A workshop by filmmaker Umesh Kulkarni on how to make short films followed by a seminar on mobile phone filmmaking was a part of the festival..
