Man found with slit throat at garden

“The accused must have strangulated him before slitting his throat,” said an officer privy to the investigation.Police were busy scanning the footages of different CCTV cameras installed on the roads leading to Himayat Bagh till late Sunday night. Aurangabad: An owner of a private school was found dead with his throat slit in the Himayat Bagh area of the city on early Sunday morning.The deceased has been identified as Vishwas Chandrashekhar Suradkar (33), a resident of Shrikrushna Nagar in N-9, Cidco. Archana called Vishwas at 11.45pm the same night but the call went unanswered.Forensic experts suspected that the man was murdered sometime in the wee hours of Sunday. A forensic team was also roped in for collecting evidence from the crime scene.The historical garden dating back to the Mughal-era, where Vishwas was found, is a favourite place for morning walkers. Senior police officers, including deputy commissioner of police (DCP) Nikesh Khatmode Patil and inspector at Begumpura police station Rajshri Adhe, rushed to the spot..
