These savings were swallowed up by fraudsters from the corporate sector under the shield of the BJP-led Union government,” said Surendra Gupta, state secretary of Congress.The party leaders demanded from the President urgent “microscopic review” of non-performing assets (NPAs) of all commercial banks to detect the total quantum of big loans which were sought by the corporate sector but which were never repaid.The demonstration was attended by more than 200 office bearers and workers of Congress committee from across the district..
